A program for the identity side of recruiting — the part no camp, no ranking, and no recruiting service is built to handle. For athletes, and the families walking through it with them.

WHERE THIS COMES FROM
This work started with college athletes, not high schoolers.
We built and are currently running an identity assessment with NCAA athletes across multiple universities — tracking exactly how pressure and self-worth fuse together at the highest level of amateur sport.
Here's what the data kept showing: it doesn't start in college. It's inherited. Every pattern we've measured in a 20-year-old traces back to a 16-year-old carrying the exact same weight — he just never had a name for it yet.
That's what brought this to Dallas. Not a theory built for recruiting families. A pattern we watched play out at the top, traced all the way back to where it actually begins.
THE PROBLEM
01
A bad camp performance turns into a referendum on who he is, not just how he played that day.
02
Recruiting silence gets internalized as rejection, even when it's just a numbers game on the other end.
03
Parents carry their own anxiety into the car ride home, without meaning to, without realizing it lands.
04
Comparing himself to every other recruit's offer list becomes a full-time, invisible job.
THE PROGRAM
Understanding where the pressure is actually coming from — the athlete, the parent, the rankings, usually some mix of all three.
Real language for the gap between "I had a bad camp" and "I'm not good enough" — before recruiting collapses the two.
A real framework for recruiting quiet, missed offers, and comparison to other recruits' timelines.
Coaching the language at home — often the single highest-leverage session in the whole program.
The athlete puts language to who he is, in his own words — not something built for a recruiter to read, something that's actually his.
A written plan the family keeps, with a built-in check-in point for the next big recruiting moment.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT
Focus entirely on exposure, film, and rankings
Treat the athlete as a product to be marketed
Say nothing to the parent about their own role
End the moment the season or camp is over
Builds the identity that has to hold up regardless of the outcome
Coaches the whole family, not just the athlete
Comes from someone who's lived the pressure, not just studied it
Leaves the family with language they keep using long after
"
I played linebacker at Baylor, then in the NFL and CFL. I'm an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School now, and I've spent the past several years building an assessment and framework specifically around identity and performance in athletes.
What I know firsthand: the recruiting years are when this pressure is at its most concentrated, and almost nothing exists to help a kid or his family actually carry it.

REQUEST A SPOTQUESTIONS
We already pay for NCSA. Do we need this too?+
Most families we talk to do both. NCSA handles exposure, profiles, and coach outreach. This is the identity and pressure side, the piece their top tier claims to offer but delivers through a rotating staffer, not someone with real credentials behind it.
Is this therapy or counseling?+
No. This is performance and identity coaching, not clinical treatment. If something comes up that needs a licensed professional, we'll say so directly and point you toward the right resource.
Does my son need to be a certain recruiting level?+
No. This is built for the pressure of the process itself, whether he's fielding multiple offers or waiting on his first one.
In person or virtual?+
In-person for DFW families, with virtual sessions available where it makes sense. We'll figure out what fits on the intake call.
What if we're mid-cycle already?+
That's a completely normal time to start. The program adapts to wherever you are in the process.
